Modern 24-hour blood pressure measurement without cuffs – continuously, even during sleep, without any disturbances. Ideal for accurately detecting blood pressure fluctuations, especially at night.
ABI measurement
Early detection of circulatory disorders in legs (PAD) by comparing blood pressure in the arms and legs. Fast, painless, recommended from middle age or in case of risk factors.
We recommend an ABI measurement for:
- - Hypertension
- - Elevated blood lipid levels
- - Family history
- - Elderly patients as regular check-ups
PWV measurement
Measures the elasticity of the vessels – an important early indicator of arteriosclerosis. The examination takes only a few minutes and helps to detect vascular changes in time.
HRV measurement
Determines how flexibly your heart responds to stress and strain. Heart rate variability shows how well your cardiovascular system is regulated – important for stress, high blood pressure or diabetes, for example.
Our goal is to ensure your heart health in the long term. To this end, we will work with you to develop an individual treatment concept – tailored to your situation and needs.
Please feel free to contact us if you have cardiological complaints or if you would like a preventive examination.
Duplex sonography is often the preferred method of examining vessels. It makes it possible to observe the blood flow in real time and to make the effects of vasoconstriction directly visible. As a risk-free and painless ultrasound examination, it helps to detect a wide variety of vascular diseases. In this way, narrowing due to hardening of the arteries, pathological dilations (aneurysms), vascular injuries and congenital malformations such as arteriovenous fistulas can be reliably visualized. This often avoids more complex procedures such as X-rays, CT or MRI.
How does duplex sonography work?
Ultrasound waves are used to scan body structures. These waves are reflected by tissues and organs to varying degrees. The received signals are processed into an image that is displayed on a monitor. In addition, the blood flow in the vessels can be visualized and measured, which also records the flow velocity.
Areas of application of duplex sonography:
- Detection and assessment of vasoconstriction
- Early detection of arteriosclerosis
- Diagnosis of thrombosis
- Examination of varicose veins
- Follow-up after vascular surgery or stent insertions
- Visualization of pathological vascular dilation
- Detection of vascular malformations
- Clarification of inflammatory vascular diseases, e.g. rheumatic diseases
- Examination for heart disease
